25 Best Murals in Kansas City
1. Kansas City I’m So in Love
2010 McGee St., Kansas City, Missouri | Artist: Ruthie Ozonoff
“Kansas City I’m So in Love” is one of the more popular murals in the city — so much so, that the mural had to be relocated in 2017 because of the traffic jams it caused. The mural is now on the side of the Imagine That! building in the Crossroads Arts District.
This mural is the perfect “KC postcard” stop for out-of-town visitors.
Where to park? There is a public parking lot right next to the mural where you can park temporarily to get a selfie, pictures with your loved one, etc. If you are looking to make this the first stop of many in the area, I would recommend finding street parking off 20th Street or Grand Boulevard instead.
Nearby attractions: The Crossroads Arts District has some of the BEST restaurants in the city. Grab a bite to eat at The Rockhill Grill and Novel right next door or enjoy a tasty beverage at KC Wineworks or local brewery, Brewery Emperial.

In 2023, Barkley rebranded the mural in honor of hosting the 2023 NFL Draft. The new illustration highlights and celebrates the potential in the community, sports, and Bigs and Littles everywhere.
Where to park? Find a free 3-hour parking spot along Main Street and make your way to the Barkley parking garage. Climb the five flights of stairs and the mural will be located on the garage’s top floor. You can also pay $1/per hour to park directly in the Barkley parking garage.
